Interrogative Content Clause
When a question is restated as part of a main clause it becomes an embedded question. Such embedded questions headed by Wh-word or How is a Content Clause inside another sentence which itself can be a question, or a statement. Such a clause can be subject, subject complement, or direct object of verb, or object of preposition, depending upon the function of the question in the clause.
